A professional in the industry will be able to evaluate your current website and analyze issues that may be hindering the performance of your website. These issues could be as simple as, “There is no way for your potential customers to contact you.” You’d be amazed by how many amateurs forget to include a way for potential customers to contact the business or make errors in the code that prevent contact. I know of a business that had an error in the code for their contact form and all the e-mails that were being sent through that form from potential customers requesting more information about their products were falling off into cyberspace. For months… maybe even years… Can you image how much potential business they lost due to this simple error? Instead of testing the form (which a pro would have done before the site went live in the first place), they decided to redesign the site and just remove the “Contact Us” form since they didn’t think anyone was using it anyway. WOW! Talk about throwing out the baby with the bath water… Luckily, a potential customer who had filled out that form three times with no response actually called the company and asked why they hadn’t called him as requested!
